Pak-Wan! Pak-Two! Pak-Shet!

I'm in the middle of writing a profound post then something inside me just wanted to say...F*CK YOU! Mamatay na kayong lahat!!! Then I realized I'm trying to be a good Christian and a good Christian shouldn't say things like that. So forgive me Lord.

It's been a heck of a day so far. Last night, I talked to guy friend who was seriously upset with one of our girl-friends (who was sorta like my girl two years back, but there wasn't anything formal. And I don't want to use the word "MU" because "MU"s are for high school students and we certainly did more than your usual MUs, if you know what I mean).

Okay, I think he loved/loves her. Not in the O-Maley kind of love, but deep friendly love. The best-friend kind of love. This girl I will now hide in the name of Mimi. Di niya naman alam na may blog ako so I can say her name, for as long as I don't say her full name. I can't get sued for this.

Anyway Brad thinks Mimi is taking him for granted. Always asks for favors and then can't show appreciation. He's had enough. So he told her "I've had enough!" and he doesn't want to hang out or talk to her anymore.

So Mimi texts me this morning, while I was in a meeting and figuring out what to say to this other person (I'll discuss this later). Anyway, Mimi must have sent me like 5 text messages ranting about how irrational Brad was and how he didn't understand her.

I feel for Brad. I know Mimi. She's sweet and pleasant, pero nasa loob ang kulo...nasa loob ang landi. At times, she can be really draining. Super sweet and affectionate when she needs something. But can easily discard you if she finds no use for you. I noticed this early on, and I feel blessed in a way that she wasn't able to discard me. That I found time to busy myself and found a natural reason to move away from her without the drama and feelings of bitterness.

Mimi could've been an okay. Physically, she's my type: not overly gorgeous, just cute. Not mestiza, just the right touch of brown. Nice skin. Great lips. We both had middle class upbringing, professionals, loved our families, and her family loves me. But on the few occasions that we had serious talks, I realized that we werent in the same intellectual wavelength. I just can't imagine sustaining a relationship with someone I can't "talk to." So I pulled away, and we stayed friends.

I don't know how to deal with them actually. Brad is so angry, although I know he'll soften up after some time. Meanwhile Mimi just doesn't get it: she thinks it's Brad who's being irrational. Brad's heart is tearing into pieces and for Mimi its just a trivial tampuhan. She texts me and asks for me to call, but I'm afraid to call her coz I just might lose it and scream: You self-centered b*tch!

So bahala na silang dalawang mag-usap. I don't want to get involved.

On another note, I am so disappointed at myself for something I "said" today. Where's the smooth-talking guy who aces sales pitches and delivers 3x the expectations? Where's the guy who's always asked to play host and deliver stand up comedic acts to audiences in the Philippines and beyond? Where's my mojo? And the sad fact is, after you've thought about what you said, someone will make fun of you pa. Aaaaarrrgggghhhh!!!!

I'll just post my profound entry tomorrow....
