On Pinoy Big Brother

I was channel surfing and this director of Pinoy Big Brother was trying to defend his show. Most of the people in the studio, including hosts Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda were saying there is nothing wrong with showing reality.

But

Incest is reality

Sexual asphyxiation is a reality

Bestiality is a reality

Brutal murders are a reality

Does that mean that there is nothing wrong with showing these things on TV?

I think the need for responsible programming supercedes the need to show reality. Reality is experienced everyday, anyway.
